Wednesday:
Capitol Hill Lunch Event: Lebanon's Elections and Regional Implications

WASHINGTON, DC - United Against Nuclear Iran (UANI) will host a lunch event tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16 on Capitol Hill to discuss the future of Lebanon after its recent parliamentary elections.

How well did Hezbollah and its allies actually do at the polls? Consequently, how much power in Lebanon do the terrorist group and its sponsor, Iran, now have? What are the ramifications for the Lebanese state and society and for U.S. policy? And how does the election's outcome affect mounting tensions between Iran and Israel in Syria? Key policymakers and experts on Lebanon will answer these questions.
