2. 15 Teenagers Treated for Rabies After Engaging in Bestiality with Donkey

Fifteen minors who sexually assaulted a donkey in the small rural town of Sidi Kamel in the communal providence of Sidi Kacem have been treated for rabies infections received from the animal.

The sexually frustrated children and teenagers stayed at the Mechraa Belksiri Hospital for one week to receive rabies vaccinations after the animal transmitted the disease to them, explained Moroccan daily Al Akhbar in its August 10 edition.

The incident has put the families of these fifteen young people into distress and horror, reports the daily.

Local authorities have been alerted and search for find anyone else who has “approached” and “admired” the animal closely, in order to limit the risk of rabies spreading among the inhabitants of the region.

5. Manchester bomber's brother "part of a four-man cell plotting to assassinate the British ambassador to Libya"
The brother of Manchester Arena concert bomber Salman Abedi was allegedly plotting to assassinate the British ambassador to Libya, The Mail on Sunday has learned.

Hashem Abedi, 20, was part of a four-man cell that was planning to murder Peter Millett, the UK envoy to Libya, a source has said.

The British-based source, who is well-connected with Libyan intelligence officials, added that the plotters were also suspected of planning to kill the then United Nations envoy to Libya, Martin Kobler, as well as the country’s prime minister, Fayez Al-Sarraj.

Echoing her ‘wir schaffen das’ [“we can do this”] mantra from the beginning of the migrant crisis, where the German premier suspended the Dublin Convention and invited an unlimited number of migrants to northern Europe, she told UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi that Germany was ‘ready to take its share.'


8. New Threats from Al Qaeda: Inspire 17 Magazine
This latest issue of Inspire is noteworthy in that the most prominent personality in the magazine is Hamza bin Laden, son of Osama bin Laden. Hamza bin Laden is emerging as a global leader of Al Qaeda and has specifically vowed to take revenge on the U.S. for killing his father.
Al Qaeda claims that they will be concentrating on targeting Western nations’ transportation infrastructure, seeking to disrupt the movement of people and cargo.

While Al Qaeda says that they will be targeting all aspects of transportation, air, sea and land, as well as local and international, Inspire 17 focuses on rail transport.

As implied by the name “inspire” Al Qaeda seeks to inspire individual Jihadis to take action. They suggest attacking transport vehicles such as trains and aircraft, lines of transport, such as railways, and stations, terminals and transit points, such as train stations, subway terminals and airports.

10. Another Islamic community radio station caught broadcasting incitement to violence against non-Muslims
The radio industry magazine Radio Today reported on the 8th August that Radio Dawn had been found by Ofcom to have broadcast 17 minutes of a ‘nasheed’ -religious devotional song – calling for Muslims to stand on the side of the Taliban. The broadcast went out on 26th December 2016, was in breach of Radio Dawn’s broadcast licence conditions and appeared to be contravening section 3.1 of the Broadcasting Code.
This ordnance forbids radio or TV stations from broadcasting material that would encourage crime, something which many reasonable people would consider pro-Taliban songs be likely to do. Radio Today carried an excerpt from the offending material and it reads as follows:

‘The man who stands against falsehood desires the death of a Mujahid10,
And we have the glorious example of Qasim’s11 cry…
…The whole world on one side and the Taliban on the other.
We are required to salute and honour their display of bravery and steadfastness…
It must be understood that justice will only be handed out at the point of the sword’”.
