Key ISIS Strategist, Spokesman Reportedly Killed in Syria 

ISIS Announces Death of Abu Mohammed al-Adnani 

Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, the ISIS leader responsible for the group's sophisticated use of social media to propagandize, recruit followers worldwide, and inspire violence, and who directed ISIS’s terror attacks internationally, was reportedly killed near the Syrian city of al-Bab, in Aleppo province. Adnani's death was announced by the terror group but has yet to be confirmed. Adnani was one of the original founders of ISIS and through his fiery rhetoric, encouraged lone wolf attacks against civilians.
