Sayadaw Ashin Wirathu
The CBS show, 60 Minutes, aired a segment last week entitled "The New Burma" (you can watch it online here). The segment was mostly about Aung San Suu Kyi, but starting at 6:55 they mentioned the conflict between the majority Buddhist population and the minority Muslim population, including an interview with the most outspoken leader against the Muslims, a Buddhist monk named Sayadaw Ashin Wirathu.

The 60 Minutes position on this conflict is typical for mainstream news: The Buddhist majority are bullying the poor, oppressed Muslim minority. But I enjoyed the following exchange between Wirathu and the 60 Minutes correspondent, Bill Whitaker (you can read a transcript of the whole segment here).

Whitaker tells viewers, "Wirathu's rhetoric is extreme, but his mantra — that Burma is for Buddhists — is widely held, even by other holy men. He's a provocateur, who enflames passions with fiery speeches. He's attracted a large and growing following." Then comes the following exchange:
Bill Whitaker: Do Muslims have a place here in Burma?

We can't repeat his actual response, it's R-rated. But essentially he said Muslims were defecating on Burma; threatening its very existence.

Ashin Wirathu: I don't accept them.

Bill Whitaker: Why?

Ashin Wirathu: Because they're deceiving the world; they want to take over the whole country. But even then they will not be satisfied. They will only be satisfied when the whole world converts to Islam.

Whitaker and the rest of the 60 Minutes staff apparently don't realize Wirathu's comment applies to them. They are being deceived, and along with the rest of the world, their point of view is skewed toward sympathy for the Muslims. The 60 Minutes staff doesn't realize that Muslims who follow Islamic doctrine do, in fact, want to take over Burma and the whole world. It is Islam's prime directive. And they're gaining traction all over the world because they have perfected the "persecuted underdog" ruse to disarm their victims, much the same way sociopaths do.

What can stop Islam from achieving its prime directive? Only one thing: A non-Muslim population that cannot be fooled. In other words, a non-Muslim population that knows Islam for what it is: An intolerant, deceitfulaggressive, violent ideology whose goal is world domination.

Muslim Migrants Invited to Take Over German Church; Altar, Cross, Pulpit Removed

Muslim Migrants Invited to Take Over German Church; Altar, Cross, Pulpit Removed
by Paul Joseph Watson | October 29, 2015

A Protestant church in Oberhausen, Germany is set to remove Christian crosses, altars and pulpits in order to accomodate 50 Muslim migrants who were invited to stay in the building.

“The parish had offered that to the city,” Oberhausen city spokesperson Rainer Suhr told media outlets.

“Before the refugees can move in, the seats have to be taken away. Also the altar, the pulpit and font are movable,” said the superintendent of the Oberhausen church district Oberhausen, Pastor Joachim Deterding.

Sanitary facilities with washing machines will be installed next to the church, while free lunches will also be delivered to the migrants.

While Germany is beginning to turn over Christian churches in order to house the influx of Muslim migrants, Sweden may be about to follow suit.

As we reported earlier this month, the world’s first lesbian Bishop Eva Brunne suggested removing Christian crosses and symbols from a church in Stockholm in order to make the building “more inviting” for Muslims.

Brunne, who also said that the direction of Mecca should be marked, argued that the church should be treated more like an airport, where Muslim prayer rooms are provided.

Migrants are also being provided with accomodation at luxury ski resorts and hotels while Europeans living in social housing are being given eviction notices to make way for the “refugees”.

These are just two more examples which illustrate why some commentators assert that Europe is committing cultural suicide in order to accomodate the migrants, the vast majority of whom aren’t even Syrian and are not fleeing war.

Earlier this week we also highlighted how German security experts are warning that the middle class in Germany is becoming “radicalized” in response to the migrant influx and that domestic unrest may occur as a result.

Islamist Who Pushed Socialist Sanders To Defend Islam Is Anti-Israel Protestor

The Sudanese Muslim immigrant who persuaded Democratic presidential candidate
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
16%
to denounce criticism of Islam as “racism,” has a history of supporting Muslim fundamentalists and of participating in hard-edged anti-Israel protests.

“If we stand for anything we have to stand together and end all forms of racism in this country. I will lead that effort as president,” Sanders answered when questioned by Remaz Abdelgader, a Sudanese immigrant. “Our job is to build a nation in which we all stand together,” said the the Democratic nominee, who hugged the Islamist.

Sanders gave his answer after Abdelgader asked him to denounce Dr. Ben Carson’s and Donald Trump’s recent criticism of Islamic ideology. “With the growing Islamophobia in this country, if you look at all the Republican candidates, in order to get, in order to feed into their constituents, they’re talking about Islamophobia and they’re constantly bashing Muslims in the media,” she said, adding that Trump and Carson, the two Republican frontrunners, are the “biggest bigots” against Muslims.
Abdelgader’s statement was likely prompted by Carson’s recent comment that he could not support a Muslim candidate for president who supports Sharia law. But Carson also said he could support a Muslim candidate if they chose to obey the Constitution over the Koran.

When asked about a new British measure to suppress violent Islam, Trump recently pledged to “look into” mosques that incite terror.

There is no evidence that the comments about Islam’s ideology by Carson and Trump were motivated by racism, partly because Islam’s believers include Asians, blacks, Latinos and whites.

However, Abdelgader’s Islamist views may prove embarrassing for Sanders, who is Jewish.
Abdelgader has called for Israel’s destruction.

During Hamas’ 2014 rocket-and-tunnel war on Israelis, Abdelgader attended an anti-Israel rally in front of the White House, where attendees displayed pro-Palestinian signs and repeated an anti-Jewish chant, “From the River To The Sea, Palestine Will Be Free.” The cheer calls for the annihilation of Israel. She posted the text on her Instagram page. The fate of the Jews living in Israel is not explained.

Sky News Host Islamist Extremists, Declares ‘Celebration’ As Guantanamo Detainee Returns

Sky News Host Islamist Extremists, Declares ‘Celebration’ As Guantanamo Detainee Returns

Sky News has declared a day of “celebration” following the news that Saudi citizen and former UK resident Shaker Aamer has returned to British soil following 13 years in Guantanamo Bay.

As part of the package on Mr. Aamer’s return, Sky presenter Sarah-Jane Mee described today as a “cause for celebration” while interviewing, unchallenged, the extremist cleric Suleiman Ghani, one of the leading figures in the “Free Shaker Aamer” campaign alongside the Labour Party’s Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell MP.

Ms. Mee’s other guest on the programme was Muslim Council of Britain General Secretary Dr Shuja Shafi. The council, an umbrella organisation claiming to represent over 500 mosques around the country, is best known for its opposition to Holocaust Memorial Day, its hardline stance against homosexuality, and for its role in the Islamist takeover of schools in the infamous Trojan Horse saga.

Nonetheless, Sky News offered an unchallenged platform to Dr. Shafi and Mr. Ghani, the latter of whom was exposed by the Daily Mail newspaper for his views against organ transplants and homosexuality, as well as his belief that women should be “subservient” to men. He said on a “Shariah TV” broadcast in 2007, “Any countries that entrust their affairs in the hands of women will not be successful.”

He has also told Channel 4: “Sometimes I always, maybe joking, say, God Almighty created Adam and Eve, and not Adam and Steve. If somebody does come to me and say that they have this inclination [homosexuality], then I will say think about the consequence of your action, how harmful it is for yourself and the society at large. Abstain from that unnatural act, and you make that firm resolution that you will never return to that action again.”

“Shaker Aamer has landed on UK soil. This is something of a very special day for us. It is a day of Friday,” Mr. Ghani told Sky this afternoon, before going on to say that Mr. Aamer should now campaign for the release of more Guantanamo detainees.

The Muslim Council of Britain, referred to by critics as a Muslim Brotherhood front organisation in the United Kingdom, is a signatory of the “Istanbul Declaration” which said that the then Egyptian government’s plans to stop weapons flowing to terrorists in Gaza: “should be regarded as high treason in the Islamic Nation, and clear support for the Zionist enemy.”

The Economist reported in 2014, “The council presented itself as a diverse Muslim body. But Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Arab Islamists held a big share of the top positions… Critics began to pay more attention to the conservative Islamist groups in the council, in particular the Muslim Brotherhood and Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami.”

Mr Ghani is also known for his sectarian activity, reportedly “pleading” with Muslim-run businesses in London to discriminate against Ahmadiyya Muslims.

He has appeared on platforms with extremists who promote terrorist groups Hamas and Hezbollah, and indeed a promotional video for an event he participated in contained a quote from Al Qaeda recruiter Anwar al-Awlaki, who was targeted and killed by a U.S. predator drone in 2011. Al-Awlaki is believed to have been integral in the radicalisation of UK student Roshonara Choudhry, as well as would-be underpants bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.

Mr. Ghani has shared platforms with Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, and Islamists who support the ideas of “armed jihad” and “contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus”.

He is also a firm proponent of Aafia Siddique, known as “Lady Al Qaeda”, one of the FBI’s most wanted terrorists in 2004, who was captured in Afghanistan in 2008, and who is currently serving 86 years in a U.S. prison.

Sky News followed up the interviews with Dr Shafi and Mr. Ghani with a talking head interview with former Guantanamo detainee Moazzam Begg, who admitted to being a jihadist recruiter before being released at the behest of the Blair government. Mr. Begg has since been arrested a number of times, including in 2014, when he was charged with terrorist activities related to the Syrian war. The charges were dropped in October 2014.

Four-Year-Old Child Stoned In Germany For Kicking Migrant’s Football

Four-Year-Old Child Stoned In Germany For Kicking Migrant’s Football

A four-year-old boy has been hospitalised after having a stone thrown at him by a resident of a troubled German migrant centre which has seen riots and Islamist violence.

The young boy, who has not been identified, suffered “massive bruising” after he inadvertently interrupted a football game taking place at the state of Thuringa migrant centre in Suhl, Germany. The child entered a gymnasium looking for his brothers when he kicked a football, enraging another migrant.

The child was then beaten around the head “several times” with the ball until a supervisor stepped in to end the violence.

Unluckily for the small boy, his assailant then caught up with him again after the game, and threw a rock at his head. Admitted to hospital for serious injuries, police said the boy had “massive bruising”, reports Focus.de.

Police have failed to identify the migrant who caused the injuries to the child.

This is not the first time the Suhl migrant receiving centre has made headlines recently. Breitbart London reported in August after residents staged a major riot at and around the buildings. The disturbance started as sectarian violence, as an Afghani migrant tore out pages of a Koran and stuffed them down a toilet, and was instantly set upon by fellow Muslims.

Thuringa 3
Left: The damaged Koran which started the riot. Right: Damage at the centre after the riot

Fearing the man would be killed as opposing sects of Islam came to blows in the migrant centre, Police moved in to put the migrant into protective custody, but their intrusion into what the participants of the brawl saw as a private fight united to attack the police. Cries of “Allahu Akhbar” were heard as officers were pelted with stones, forcing them to retreat and hide in a nearby building.
Deprived of police officers to attack, the residents of the asylum shelter turned on the building itself, smashing down doors, breaking windows, and even tearing down internal walls. Fires were lit, and furniture destroyed. Eighteen, including six police officers, had to seek hospital treatment.

Just weeks before, migrants at the same centre had another riot where eight had to seek hospital treatment, including two members of the security service. Although the violence was triggered by complaints over living conditions, officials called the protest “trivial”.

Academic Freedom Opposed by "Who"?

by Douglas Murray  •  October 30, 2015 at 5:00 am
  • Do students in any British or American university have to be held responsible for the actions of the British or American armed forces in Northern Ireland or Iraq? Would we not think it the grossest ignorance, not to mention bad manners, to think they should be?
Professor Jonathan Rosenhead, of the London School of Economics, is one of the organisers of an academic boycott of Israel.
It is that time of year again. News arrives of 343 "university teachers" who signed a letter pledging that henceforth they will not cooperate with Israeli academic institutions. Their joint letter took up a full page today in Britain's left-wing Guardian newspaper (where else?) and has caused almost no stir in Britain. It comes days after a letter signed by 150 leading British writers, musicians and others -- including JK Rowling, Simon Schama and Hilary Mantel -- opposed any and all such boycotts against Israel, and pointed out that in the eyes of most people, intellectual and cultural exchange is a good thing.

Rashid Khalidi Heads Pro-PLO Panel in Bashing Israel
The Jewish State Is, Apparently, a Greater Threat to America than Anything Emanating from the Muslim World

by Andrew Harrod
FrontPage Magazine

Be the first of your friends to like this.
Rashid Khalidi
Israel is a greater threat to America than anything emanating from the Muslim world, according to participants in an October 15 panel titled "The Future of Bipartisanship on Israel." One of the nation's largest Democratic Party campaign contributors, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), provided an appropriately partisan setting in their Washington, DC, headquarters for this biased panel. Columbia University professor and former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi moderated before an audience of around seventy, including Jerusalem Fund director Zeina Azzam.
Former CIA analyst and Georgetown University security studies researcher Paul Pillar ("one of the wisest people" on the Middle East, according to Khalidi) began the panel by dredging up the well-worn assertion that the U.S. suffers from its alliance with Israel. Downplaying broader jihadist motives, he claimed that the Arab-Israeli conflict is a "highly exploitable issue" that exacerbates "extremism and specifically, terrorist threats to the U.S." American support for Israel is a "major drain on U.S. political and diplomatic capital," he added.
Pillar defined Israeli interests in the Palestinian territories as "based on religious, nationalist, and economic reasons," with no mention of self-defense. "When people have peaceful effective channels for pursuing their interests, they tend to use them," he stated, implying that Palestinian terrorism is merely the result of oppression. The "denial of self-determination and democracy to a whole population shows the United States to be a hypocrite," he maintained, as if this alleged "denial" were a policy.
Despite acknowledging bilateral military cooperation, Pillar perceived little commonality between Israel and the U.S. concerning terrorist threats. Unlike "transnational jihadists," terrorism against Israel "is not really threatening the American people," he declared, denying any link between the two. His superficial and callous assessment held that the "only Americans Hamas has killed are the ones that happened to be on the wrong street corner [in Israel] at the wrong time," although Palestinian terrorists have killed more Americans than the Islamic State. He also asserted that Hezbollah's "highly lethal terrorism" against Americans ended with the 1996 Saudi Arabian Khobar Towers bombing, despite the continuing global reach of Iran's terrorist proxy.
Envisioning a greater nuclear threat from Israel, a "nuclear outlaw state," than from Iran, Pillar criticized the "intense recent effort by the Israeli government to kill one of the most significant advances in nuclear nonproliferation," the Iran nuclear agreement. Yousef Munayyer, executive director of the U.S. Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation, agreed with Pillar, calling the ineffective deal the "most intrusive inspections regime known to man." Munayyer chastised opponents of the agreement's sanctions relief and labeled it an "effective moving of the goalposts."
Nihad Awad, executive director of the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), alleged a conspiratorial "connection . . . between the Islamophobia network and the pro-Israel machinery" that "has been hijacking U.S. foreign policy." He accused Middle East Forum (MEF) president Daniel Pipes of being a "central figure in the Islamophobia network" and a "failed academician." In fact, Pipes—who has consistently emphasized that "radical Islam is the problem, moderate Islam is the solution"—has taught at Harvard, the University of Chicago, Pepperdine, and the U.S. Naval War College.
Arab American Institute executive director Maya Berry charged Campus Watch (CW), a project of MEF that analyzes and critiques the field of Middle East studies, with "targeting professors" and causing the "suppression of free speech on college campuses," a false and disproven allegation that further demonstrates professors' expectation to be free of criticism. "This is a massive campaign funded by very, very, very, very well endowed organizations," added Khalidi melodramatically. It translates into "the protection of the status quo," while pro-Palestinian "activism is grassroots."
Awad went on to blame this alleged network for the outcome of the 2008 Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial, claiming that the "government bought into the pro-Israel propaganda machinery against HLF." He described HLF merely as the "largest relief organization for Muslims in the country," which funded "low-credit projects" in the Palestinian territories, when, in fact, the American government convicted HLF in 2008 for supporting Hamas. As Awad put it, the list of unindicted conspirators in the case, such as the aforementioned CAIR, is a "Who's Who in the [American] Muslim community."
Munayyer and other panelists drew a predictable analogy between African-Americans and Palestinians as two "oppressed peoples." He claimed that "it is very easy for Palestinians to identify with [the] Black Lives Matter" movement, while Khalidi asserted that American police forces undergoing Israeli riot control training are learning "how to subdue colonized populations" from the "masters of that kind of repression."
The panelists presented these linkages as a broader shift in American attitudes towards Israel. "The younger you are, the more progressive you are, and the darker your complexion," stated Munayyer, "the more likely you are to be sympathetic towards Palestinians and critical of U.S. policy." Berry cited July 2015 data from pollster Frank Luntz, in which "almost half of Democratic opinion elites found Israel to be racist." As a 2012 Democratic convention delegate, Berry witnessed the controversy over what Khalidi called the "disgusting plank" in the party platform reaffirming Jerusalem as Israel's historic capital.
Thus did the panel present a near-perfect blend of radical politics, biased scholarship, and conspiracy mongering in the cause of ending America's longstanding support for Israel, which Khalidi labeled a "consensus of idiocy." In this alternative universe, Iran is more trustworthy than the region's only democracy, concerns over Islamism are a unfounded, and the violent, corrupt Palestinian Authority ruled by sharia is a virtuous polity. This distortion of reality demonstrates the malign influence of contemporary Middle East studies, which provides intellectual cover for apologists of bigotry and violence, something all persons of good will should oppose.

The Most Misleading Passage Ever Quoted From the Koran

The Most Misleading Passage Ever Quoted From the Koran

Link to Citizen Warrior

Posted: 29 Oct 2015 10:30 AM PDT
“…if anyone killed a person, it would be as if he killed the whole of mankind; and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole of mankind…”

Have you heard this quote? It is from the Koran (5:32). It seems like a straightforward quote, and Muslim apologists use it all the time to illustrate that the Muslims beheading people or blowing up non-Muslims are going against the teachings of Islam. This is misleading. And anyone who knows the Koran and Islam knows it is misleading.

Given that Muslims often respond to violent quotes from the Koran by saying they are quoted out of context, it is ironic that one of their mainstay "positive" Koranic quotes is itself taken out of context.

When Muslims (and news organizations) use this quote, they're trying to convey the idea that in Islam, murder is wrong and saving lives is good. But that's not the meaning of the passage. In fact, it's really the opposite of what the verse conveys.

This is the whole verse (5:32): "On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person — unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land — it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land."

In other words, this was a commandment to the "Children of Israel" (Jews). This is not a commandment to all people. It is definitely not a commandment to Muslims, so using it as a quote from the Koran showing how peaceful Islam is definitely qualifies as misleading.

And even if this were a commandment to Muslims, it has the qualification, "unless it be for murder or spreading mischief in the land." So according to this verse, someone "spreading mischief" can be killed.

That's bad enough. But the very next verse of the Koran (5:33) goes even further. It says: "The punishment of those who wage war against God and His Apostle, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter."

This explains that the correct punishment for mischief is execution, crucifixion, etc. This is a command given to Muslims from the Almighty Himself.

As you can see, this adds up to a much different message than the one so often misleadingly quoted. The fact that Muslims must take a passage out of context in order to get a semi-nice quote out of the Koran tells you something about the Koran. I've read the Koran twice, and I can tell you from personal experience that there is no "kindness toward all people" in the entire book.

I believe that simply sharing the information above wherever that quote is used — this, all by itself — would go a long way to opening peoples' eyes to not only the true nature of Islam, but to the effort being made to deceive us about Islam.

For more information about this passage, check out the excellent site, Answering Muslims.

Also, Robert Spencer has some good information about this passage: Blogging the Qur’an: Sura 5.
