Multiculturalism: What Happened to Responsibility?
It is now necessary to rescue Canada's identity from "withering away" and to resuscitate other Western countries from the foreign infiltrations that have usurped the common values that made these countries great and attractive to immigrants in the first place. Multiculturalism will not disappear, nor will immigration from societies with values inconsistent with Western democracies.
Canadian Muslims: A Plea to West
Since 9/11 many Muslims around the world, including those who belong to Muslims Facing Tomorrow in Canada, have been warning our compatriots of the nature of Islamist threat worldwide, of the extent to which Islamism is a virulent ideology of warfare (jihad) and a radical reorientation of Muslim societies to comply with Sharia that repudiates modernity in all its form. This ideology has brought death and devastation within the Muslim and non-Muslim world. The West needs to take seriously the war declared by Islamists against infidels, Zionists, Israelis and Muslims opposed to Islamism.
Description: Description: http://www.blogwrath.com/multiculturalism-in-action/thornhill-the-myth-of-the-friendly-muslim-neighbourhood/5408/
This article is an open letter and a warning to the residents and the local politicians in Thornhill. Just like individuals, communities sometimes face crossroads, where they have to make choices that cannot be undone. In such situations one has only one chance to avoid irreversible changes.
The issue here is a new real estate development proposed by the shia Muslim Jaffari Centre

Terror suspect’s pardoned past: Alleged VIA plotter Raed Jaser arrested for fraud binge
Four years after arriving in Canada, Raed Jaser was arrested by Toronto police for what could only be described as a fraud binge. In the space of a few months in 1996, he allegedly defrauded nine businesses. As a failed refugee claimant, his criminal record was problematic. It could get him deported. But in 2008, through a non-profit group called Pardons Canada, he applied to the National Parole Board for a pardon. It cost him $50.

When Democracy and Multi-Culturalism Collide
In January, a student taking an online course at Toronto's York University asked to be excused from the on-campus requirement, claiming, according to the New York Times, that "his religious beliefs did not permit casual contact with women." Then, at Canada's publicly-funded Huron College in Ontario, a non-Muslim was forbidden to audit a course on "Islamic preaching, public speaking, and worship" taught by Muslim convert Ingrid Mattson. Not insignificantly, the Toronto Sun notes that Professor Mattson previously directed the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) – an organization with ties to terrorism so strong that the Canadian government itself revoked its charitable status last fall.
On the fifth day of Ezra Levant’s trial things became more interesting – the defendant had the whole day to tell his version of the story. He answered the questions of his lawyer, Iain McKinnon, leading us through the chain of events that followed the most publicized censorship trial in Canada.
The sixth day of the trial of Ezra Levant was marked by the “clash of the titans.” Khurrum Awan’s lawyer cross-examined Ezra Levant. The trial’s importance about the free speech in Canada continues to be underestimated even by the so-called conservative commentators.

American Islamist Coalition Launches with Empty Rhetoric
Eight national Muslim organizations, many with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and with records of support for Hamas, have formed a "national council" that seeks to further entrench an Islamist monopoly on Muslim political debate.
Fox Haters Carrying Water for CAIR
The U.S. Justice Department says CAIR is a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity and labeled it an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-financing trial. Federal prosecutors said in a 2007 court filing that CAIR uses deception to “conceal from the American public their connections to terrorists.” CAIR’s documented record should alienate every progressive. The criterion for being an “Islamophobe” is not to actually be an anti-Muslim bigot. It’s to be a critic of CAIR and Islamism
From Radical to Terrorist: The "Conveyor Belt" to Violent Extremism
The process of radicalization seems institutionalized within Britain's leading "moderate" Islamist groups. Until the government chooses seriously to challenge the extremism promoted by these organizations, withdraws all public funding and puts a stop to the inclusion of "non-violent" extremists in the discussion of public policy, the "conveyor belt" will continue to release more and more radicalized youth onto the streets of British cities.
Was this a jihad attack? There is no way to tell as yet, but Malaysian police and Interpol are “taking a close look at a 35-year-old passenger of Uighur descent” — that is, a member of the Muslim group in western China that has been waging jihad with increasing ferocity against the Chinese recently — who “undertook flight simulation training.”
The Double-Edged Sword of Jihad
In an unprecedented move and following Egypt’s lead, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain recently withdrew their ambassadors from Qatar, largely due to its Al Jazeera propaganda network which, since the ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood, has been inciting chaos in the region. This move, according to Reuters, “underscored concern about young Saudis hardened by battle against Assad coming home to target the ruling Al Saud royal family—as has happened after the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.”

Islam's Inadvertent Patterns
How does Islam shape the way Muslims live? The religion's formal requirements are the narrow base for a far wider structure of patterns that extend the formal rules of Islam, stretching them in unexpected and unplanned ways. "Islam's inadvertent adverse effects on adherents: Strict traditional laws impact modern life"
Twenty five years on from Rushdie we are too frightened to say we are scared
Last month our media commemorated the imminent anniversary of the fatwa against Salman Rushdie by trying and failing to report the threats to the life of Maajid Nawaz, the chief executive of Quilliam Foundation. In a vindication of Kipling’s “once you have paid him the Dane-geld/you never get rid of the Dane” fanatics are after Nawaz not because he satirised the founding myths of Islam, as Rushdie did, or projected sexist verses from the Koran on to a naked woman’s body, as Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali did, but because – brace yourselves – he tweeted a picture of Jesus saying “Hey” and Muhammad saying “How ya doin’?”
Maajid Nawaz defends decision to tweet controversial cartoon
Maajid Nawaz, a Muslim Liberal Democrat candidate who is running to be an MP in Hampstead and Kilburn, has revealed he tweeted a cartoon of Muhammad and Jesus because of his desire to speak freely without fearing a charge of blasphemy, even though it prompted death threats and calls for him to stand down. He did not feel it threatened him in order to defend his religion "against those who have hijacked it because they shout the loudest".
Iran: Kurds Tortured, Hanged
Two prominent Kurdish political prisoners were hanged respectively on October 26 and November 4, 2013. According to many international human rights organizations and various media; there has been a surge in the rate of executions after President Rouhani's election. Iran's grotesque human rights violations, the rise in executions, or the fate of three Americans -- Amir Hekmati, Pastor Saeed Abedini and Robert Levinson -- held as political prisoners inside Iran, were not even discussed during the historic negotiations between the United States and Iran in late 2013.

American Pastor Saeed Abedini Taken to Hospital Shackled and Forced to Return Untreated
A little over a week ago, American Pastor Saeed – a U.S. citizen – was moved from Rajai Shahr Prison to a private hospital in Iran.  He was told he would receive further tests on his deteriorating medical condition and undergo surgery to address chronic pain in his stomach area – the result of numerous prison beatings.  This coincided with the arrival of the High Representative of the European Union, Catherine Ashton in Iran.  However, as soon as she departed Iran, Pastor Saeed was informed that he would be moved back to prison without receiving any real treatment
