What attracted me most to the project was that unlike the many organizations that focus on "raising awareness," this project is on the front lines of the war against Western values and it's having an impact. I am proud to report that over the last year, we have not only expanded our defensive capabilities, aiding anti-Islamist speakers targeted with lawsuits for speaking out, but have also developed innovative policy approaches to preempt and strike back against Islamist intimidation. These are just some highlights. We can do all this thanks to a well-credentialed, highly skilled staff whose dedication to the issues permits us to operate on a shoestring budget. Legal Project readers understand that robust protections for the frank discussion of radical Islam are our first line of defense against the encroachment of Islamic law.
